Our students specialize in advancing leadership in organizations through rigorous scientific inquiry and practical application. The approach goes beyond mere problem-solving to creating and cultivating a culture where leadership thrives. Students can analyze the nuances of leadership excellence, identifying key factors that enhance leadership, not only of those in management positions but of all employees in the organization. The student teams can work on challenges like, but not limited to, the following:

• Helping employees and/or managers find their leadership strengths and offering leadership excellence plans.
• Investigating which leadership styles, on various levels, could be developed to foster an inclusive organizational climate and/or employee engagement.
• Developing leadership selection and promotion procedures to make your organization future-proof.
• Suggesting mentoring- or coaching programs for young professionals.
• Analyzing both formal and informal leadership structures within an organization and providing guidance on how to leverage these structures effectively.

🏢 Company requirement

• Any company (startup/scale-up/corporate/incubator/NGO) with at least two founders/employees working full time in the company.
• In business for at least 6 months.

💰 Costs

To help facilitate this challenge a matching fee of €750,- (ex tax) per team applies (charged by Master Challenge and NOT the university) when matched to a team.

• November 27 (or soon after): Final presentations in time slots of 20 minutes
