Venture Challenge '26
During the Venture Challenge a team of Master Entrepreneurship students will solve your entrepreneurial challenges such as testing new value propositions, exploring new markets, scaling up, or boosting entrepreneurship within corporates.
Description
The teams will come up with practically relevant solutions and an implementation plan related to your entrepreneurial challenges, such as testing new value propositions, exploring new markets, scaling up, corporate entrepreneurship, etc.
✅ Key features of the challenge
- Students per team: 4-6 students.
- Programme: Master Entrepreneurship
- Course: Venture Challenge
- No. of hours spent per team: 160 hours x number of team members
- Duration: January 5 – January 30, 2025
- Supervision: Student teams are supervised and guided by lecturers.
- Deliverables: Management presentation and report (in the form of slides) with recommendations and an implementation plan.
- Company time investment: 12-20 hours (e.g. kick-off meeting, weekly meetings, attending final presentation)
- Free of charge
📑 Challenge Examples
The student teams can work on challenges like, but not limited to, the following:
- Validating new value propositions
- Exploring new markets or customer segments
- Developing a funding strategy
- Helping with scaling up
- Boosting entrepreneurship within corporates
🏢 Company requirement
- Any company (startup/scale-up/corporate/incubator/NGO) with at least two founders/employees working full time in the company.
- In business for at least 6 months.

You can submit the challenge directly through the website. Provide a title that summarises the challenge. Subsequently, briefly elaborate on your challenge. 🗓 Planning
- December 12: Deadline for submitting your challenge
- December 12 (or sooner): Receiving message if your challenge is approved by the Course Coordinator
- December 17-22: Matching phase
- December 17: Student teams will choose 5 challenges they want to work on.
- December 22: Company representatives will receive a list of student teams that want to work on their challenge (if any), and can 'rank' those teams.
- December 23/24: Our matching algorithm will create perfect matches.
- January 5-6 (or sooner): Kick-off meeting with your team
- January 29 or 30, 9:00 – 17:00: Final presentations in time slots of 30 minutes (after you are matched to a team, we will schedule the time slots)
