<h1>📑 Informatie opleiding</h1>
Dit vak is onderdeel van jaar 3 van de bachelor Hospitality Management.
Dit derde jaar staat in het teken van ‘improving the business’. De studenten hebben in de eerste twee jaar kennis en ervaring opgedaan in vele facetten van hospitality. In jaar 3 worden ze uitgedaagd de organisatie te verbeteren gebruik makend van deze bagage.
 
In dit vak passen studenten hun onderzoeksvaardigheden toe om zo operationele processen te analyseren. Ze implementeren bovendien een (operationele) verbetering en meten de effecten hiervan op relevante criteria. Hierbij wordt de kennis van het vak 'operations management toegepast.
Het vak duurt 10 weken en vindt vier keer per jaar plaats. In de eerste drie weken onderzoeken de studenten in teams van 4-5 personen het probleem van de opdrachtgever en doen een voorstel voor een verbetering. Hierbij wordt gebruik gemaakt van theorie om de relevante variabelen vast te stellen en te operationaliseren. In week 4 vindt de feedback en de finetuning van het voorstel plaats om vervolgens in week 5 en 6 bij de opdrachtgever op een fysiek locatie data te verzamelen (voormeting – implementatie verbetering – nameting). In week 7 en 8 zorgt het team voor analyse en rapportage. In week 10 presenteren de studenten hun resultaten aan de opdrachtgever en het docententeam.
 
Let op: In week 5 en 6 gaan studentengroepen 2 weken (24 uur) lang in de winkel/fysieke locatie de data verzamelen zoals: interviews met gasten, observaties, vragenlijsten, persoonlijk meedraaien (bij goedkeuring), mystery shoppers inzetten.
 
Het is van cruciaal belang dat de ondernemer ervoor openstaat om veranderingen door te laten voeren gedurende de 2 test weken. Denk hierbij aan bijvoorbeeld; het geven van een training, aanpassen communicatie, uitbreiden assortiment of bijvoorbeeld het actiever benaderen van gasten.

 <li>LET op: geen vraag als we hebben een lage omzet in daluren, hoe kunnen we deze verhogen? Dit is dan vooral een marketing vraagstuk en we zijn op zoek naar een procesvraagstuk.</li>

 <li>De opdracht betreft een verbetering van een operationeel proces op de werkvloer.</li>
 <li>Het is van belang dat het probleem relevant is voor de opdrachtgever en het direct effect heeft op de klantervaring.</li>
 <li>Studenten zijn welkom in het bedrijf in de twee aangewezen weken om gedurende circa 20 uur de verbetering te implementeren en metingen te verrichten om het effect ervan te bepalen.</li>
 <li>Het is bespreekbaar dat medewerkers en gasten geobserveerd of ondervraagd worden. Inzage in relevante data (zoals bv verkoopcijfers) is mogelijk.</li>
 <li>De opdrachtgever is daarnaast beschikbaar voor een intakegesprek, geeft tussentijdse feedback op het onderzoeksvoorstel en is aanwezig bij de eindpresentatie.</li>
 <li>B2C &amp; B&amp;C, maar er moet een fysieke en interactieve gastbeleving zijn. (event voor medewerkers, groothandel of bijvoorbeeld een fysiotherapeut zijn). GEEN ONLINE BUSINESS!</li>

In deze module wordt een verdieping gemaakt op online marketingcommunicatie. Hoe kan traffic naar je website gegenereerd worden (SEA/SEO/e.a.), hoe kan je engagement bij je merk creëren, op welke manier kan je social media inzetten om je merk te laden en hoe meet je dit.

Online Communicatie - Hogeschool Inholland - april 25 (MCW/MDW)

Je kunt nu gratis een team van studenten inzetten om jouw ICT-vraagstuk uit te werken. Ze werken in sprints en bespreken bij de start, samen met jou en de begeleidende docent, de wensen en doelen. Tijdens de het project ontwikkelen ze een projectplan, voeren het plan uit en gaan testen. Na goedkeuring wordt dit project verder uitgewerkt, op locatie of in een simulatieomgeving.

Onze studenten ontwikkelen ICT-skills als ICT-beheerder of Security specialist. De studenten die aan jouw project gaan werken hebben individueel al aangetoond dat zij basiskennis van ICT-vaardigheden hebben. Het contact met de opdrachtgever biedt studenten de kans om hun communicatieve vaardigheden te ontwikkelen. Aan het einde van het project is er een waardevol eindproduct gerealiseerd. Onze studenten werken projectmatig volgens de Scrum-methodiek in teams van 3 à 4 personen. Ze worden beoordeeld op het voltooien van het project en het eindproduct.

Tweedejaars studenten Creative Business maken een gedetailleerd export plan voor jouw bedrijf in de creatieve industrie én daarbuiten!
 
In eerste instantie doen de studenten onderzoek naar het bedrijf van de opdrachtgever en komen tot een organisatie-analyse waarin zij de usp’s van het bedrijf, om te kunnen opereren in het buitenland, centraal stellen.
 
De tweede stap die de studenten nemen, is dat ze een voorstel voorbereiden voor een aantal landen waarin de dienst of het product succesvol kan worden neergezet. Dit voorstel wordt gepitcht en de opdrachtgever wijst op basis van het voorstel aan welk land(of stad) zijn voorkeur heeft. Studenten gaan aan de slag en leveren uiteindelijk een exportplan op met daarin financiële, marketingtechnische en juridische componenten.
 
Let op: enige financiële informatie zal aan de studenten verstrekt moeten worden. Denk hierbij aan omzetcijfers, marges, financiële verloop van de afgelopen jaren (mag een schatting zijn).
Doordat zowel internationale studenten als Nederlandse studenten participeren aan deze module, is de voertaal Engels. Verder is het belangrijk dat er meer dan 4 medewerkers in dienst zijn.

<h1>📑 Informatie opleiding</h1>
Dit vak is onderdeel van jaar 3 van de bachelor Hospitality Management.
Dit derde jaar staat in het teken van ‘improving the business’. De studenten hebben in de eerste twee jaar kennis en ervaring opgedaan in vele facetten van hospitality. In jaar 3 worden ze uitgedaagd de organisatie te verbeteren gebruik makend van deze bagage.
 
In dit vak passen studenten hun onderzoeksvaardigheden toe om zo operationele processen te analyseren. Ze implementeren bovendien een (operationele) verbetering en meten de effecten hiervan op relevante criteria. Hierbij wordt de kennis van het vak 'operations management toegepast.
 
Het vak duurt 10 weken en vindt vier keer per jaar plaats. In de eerste drie weken onderzoeken de studenten in teams van 4-5 personen het probleem van de opdrachtgever en doen een voorstel voor een verbetering. Hierbij wordt gebruik gemaakt van theorie om de relevante variabelen vast te stellen en te operationaliseren. In week 4 vindt de feedback en de finetuning van het voorstel plaats om vervolgens in week 5 en 6 bij de opdrachtgever op een fysiek locatie data te verzamelen (voormeting – implementatie verbetering – nameting). In week 7 en 8 zorgt het team voor analyse en rapportage. In week 10 presenteren de studenten hun resultaten aan de opdrachtgever en het docententeam.
 
Let op: In week 5 en 6 gaan studentengroepen 2 weken (24 uur) lang in de winkel/fysieke locatie de data verzamelen zoals: interviews met gasten, observaties, vragenlijsten, persoonlijk meedraaien (bij goedkeuring), mystery shoppers inzetten.
 
Het is van cruciaal belang dat de ondernemer ervoor openstaat om veranderingen door te laten voeren gedurende de 2 test weken. Denk hierbij aan bijvoorbeeld; het geven van een training, aanpassen communicatie, uitbreiden assortiment of bijvoorbeeld het actiever benaderen van gasten.

 <li>Hoe kan ik de wachttijd verminderen in het ziekenhuis?</li>
 <li>LET op: geen vraag als we hebben een lage omzet in daluren, hoe kunnen we deze verhogen? Dit is dan vooral een marketing vraagstuk en we zijn op zoek naar een procesvraagstuk.</li>

 <li>De opdracht betreft een verbetering van een operationeel proces op de werkvloer.</li>
 <li>Het is van belang dat het probleem relevant is voor de opdrachtgever en het direct effect heeft op de klantervaring.</li>
 <li>Studenten zijn welkom in het bedrijf in de twee aangewezen weken om gedurende circa 20 uur de verbetering te implementeren en metingen te verrichten om het effect ervan te bepalen.</li>
 <li>Het is bespreekbaar dat medewerkers en gasten geobserveerd of ondervraagd worden. Inzage in relevante data (zoals bv verkoopcijfers) is mogelijk.</li>
 <li>De opdrachtgever is daarnaast beschikbaar voor een intakegesprek, geeft tussentijdse feedback op het onderzoeksvoorstel en is aanwezig bij de eindpresentatie.</li>

Ondernemers staan voor een grote uitdaging, namelijk een circulaire economie in 2050. Dit brengt veel vraagstukken met zich mee; anders leren denken, pionieren, testen en vooral heel veel leren. Studenten gaan tijdens deze challenge aan de slag met een vraagstuk van een bedrijf rondom de circulaire transitie. Gezien de circulaire economie een breed begrip is en uit uiteenlopende vraagstukken bestaat, willen we deze vraagstukken ophalen bij ondernemers en tijdens een pilot, deze challenges multi disciplinaire te matchen met verschillende teams in het onderwijs. (samenwerken met verschillende vakgebieden om de vraag zo goed mogelijk te kunnen beantwoorden).

MKB Circulair Workspace is een samenwerking tussen het ROC, Inholland en de HvA, waar circulaire opdrachten voor MKB-ers multi disciplinaire worden opgelost en misschien wel multilevel. In the course Personnel Psychology, a student team will help you in making better decisions related to one of your HR-related challenges. The teams will come up with high quality and practically relevant recommendations based on an analysis of your organization, collected data, and relevant (academic) literature.
The students will receive training and guidance by lecturers from Tilburg University.

Master Challenge is organizing this challenge-based learning program free of charge for educational organizations. In order to cover costs like company recruitment, platform development, marketing, coordination, etc. Master Challenge issues a matching fee of €750,- (ex tax) per team. This is to be able to further operate and close the gap between education and practice.

<h1>👉 What does the challenge ask of you as a company when matched to a team?</h1>
<ul>
 <li>A contact person that typically invests between 8-12 hours (e.g., joining the (online) kick-off, (bi-)weekly update meetings, final presentations, providing information, answering questions).</li>
 <li>Most assignments require students to collect data within the host organization (e.g., interview data, focus groups, quantitative data, document analysis). Typically, the data collection requires a time investment between 6-10 hours in total.</li>
 <li>A selection of documents to get the team up to speed. HR Challenge '24

The Capstone is the final phase of the <a href="https://www.charm-eu.eu/masters/globalchallenges" target="_blank">CHARM-EU Master's programme Global Challenges for Sustainability</a>. From September 2025 until February 2026, student teams collaborate with external stakeholders to identify, analyse and address complex sustainability challenges. In doing so, they will develop proposals for solutions to these challenges.&nbsp;The Capstone can generate knowledge, fresh insights and other useful outputs. These can include scientific analyses; business models; policy briefs or recommendations; communication materials; or software, tools or prototypes. <h1>📑 Capstone Challenges</h1>
Capstone challenges focus on important societal (rather than organisational) issues related to sustainability. Challenges need to meet criteria related to interdisciplinarity, feasibility (incl. in terms of ethical procedures), scope, inclusivity and societal relevance. Most challenges focus on one or more of the countries where the 5 universities are based (Spain, The Netherlands, France, Ireland or Hungary), but can also be global in nature and/or focus on other EU or non-EU countries.&nbsp;
 
<h1>🏢 Benefits &amp; requirement for participating external stakeholders</h1>
These are some of the ways in which you can benefit from being involved in the Capstone:

 <li>Identify ways to address sustainability challenges together with students and academics.</li>
 <li>Receive useful outputs in the form of a final Capstone product, e.g. reports, policy briefs, infographics, business models, prototypes, etc. The Capstone product will be co-defined by extra-academic actors, students and academic supervisors. Please note, however, that students are in the lead of their own analyses and products.</li>
 <li>Test or use certain technologies, software, tools, methods or equipment.</li>
 <li>Build competences, knowledge and skills, e.g. through mixed classrooms and workshops whereby students and professionals learn together.</li>
 <li>Network with other extra-academic actors, academics and students, and establish long-term collaborations with CHARM-EU and its eight partners.</li>
 <li>Recruit CHARM-EU students for internships/traineeships and jobs and/or help to develop knowledge and skills among (potential) future employees.</li>
 <li>Academics can also propose challenges, for example by linking challenges to their own research projects and thereby advance their own transdisciplinary&nbsp;research</li>

External stakeholders can become engaged in the Capstone if they:

 <li>Are active in addressing sustainability challenges that relate to (some of) the UN Sustainable Development Goals.</li>
 <li>Value trans- and interdisciplinary approaches and inclusiveness.</li>
 <li>Are willing to invest (some) time and effort in the Capstone. The main client who submits a challenge is expected to at least meet student teams once a month and provide feedback on the proposal, the Capstone report and the students’ presentation thereof.</li>
 <li>The main client will sign a non-legally binding agreement or letter of intent to express commitment, availability and openness to sharing the final Capstone product in an online repository.</li>

In the description of your challenge, please touch on:&nbsp;inter-/transdisciplinarity of the challenge, how your organisation is dealing with the challenge, language requirements for the student team (if any), and the university you wish to align your challenge with (this is usually within the same country you are in).&nbsp;Feel free to include any weblinks with further information about your challenge. Bij Bit Academy leren onze studenten software development zoals het in de echte wereld gebeurt: hands-on, in hun eigen tempo en met coaching op maat. De opleiding te ontwikkelen in verschillende richtingen binnen &nbsp;software development. Geen vaste lesroosters, maar een flexibele leerroutes met de juiste begeleiding. Zo specialiseren studenten zich in webdevelopment of data-analyse. Via ons platform NexEd werken ze aan praktijkgerichte projecten en bouwen ze skills die direct inzetbaar zijn in de tech-industrie. Dit is jouw kans om samen met ze een impactvol project te realiseren!&nbsp;
 
Gedurende 4 of 10 weken gaan kleine teams van studenten aan de slag met het bouwen van een website, webapplicatie of prototype dat jouw bedrijf vooruit helpt.
Wat kun je verwachten? 
De studenten werken in teams van 3 tot 5 en krijgen begeleiding van een Bit Academy coach die actief meedoet binnen het team. Tijdens de challenge krijg je wekelijks of om de week een update van de voortgang, en jij kunt feedback geven op de iteraties en prioriteiten stellen voor de functionaliteiten. Het project eindigt met een eindpresentatie, waarin het resultaat aan jou wordt gepresenteerd.
 
Welke projecten zijn geschikt voor deze challenge? 
De uitdaging voor jou als bedrijf? Het is belangrijk dat je opdracht een losstaand product of prototype is, zodat studenten de vrijheid hebben om volledig vanuit de basis te werken. Werk dat moet plaatsvinden binnen een bestaand product is daarom vaak niet mogelijk omdat de meeste producten al keuzes hebben gemaakt om specifieke tools te gebruiken. Een losstaand product of prototype is daarom meestal succesvoller.&nbsp;
 
Het is verder belangrijk dat studenten vanuit first principles leren. Dat betekent dat het gebruik van JavaScript, PHP of Python aangeleerd wordt voordat we ingaan op specifieke frameworks, zoals React, Laravel of Jupyter Notebook.&nbsp;
 
Let op: GEEN WordPress, Magento, of Wix websites. Mocht je opdracht niet direct passen in één van de genoemde voorbeelden, neem dan contact met ons op, dan kunnen we kijken of we het toch kunnen faciliteren!

Wat zijn de voorwaarden voor deelname? 
Als bedrijf moet je ervaring hebben met het (laten) ontwikkelen van custom software en een online presence hebben (bijvoorbeeld een website). Idealiter heb je ervaring met het begeleiden van (stage) studenten en ben je bekend met scrum of vergelijkbare projectmethodieken.&nbsp;
 
De praktijkbegeleider bij het bedrijf is belangrijk voor het succes van de challenge en moet de studenten begeleiden in het aanleren van projectstructuren (zoals scrum), hen helpen haalbare oplossingen te vinden en constructieve feedback geven op verschillende iteraties van het product.
 
De planning 
De startdata worden per groep studenten bepaald, dit zal binnen de komende 4 maanden (vanaf 10 maart) plaatsvinden. De challenge moet voor het einde van het schooljaar (juni 2025) klaar zijn. De groepen zullen 4 of 10 weken bezig zijn en maximaal tot het einde van het studiejaar werken aan het project.

Software Development - Bit Academy - Amsterdam / Purmerend - 2025

Students will work on complex, strategic B2C issues submitted by real clients for a duration of 20 weeks. Often submitted issues are Marketing oriented.
 
In the first nine weeks, project teams make use of the Design Thinking model which the target group is thoroughly being researched through field- and desk research. That’s why open access to the target group is crucial. Based on their research results, students come up with several concepts which they pitch to the client. After that students will, in consultation with the client, produce (parts of) the concept.
 
At the end of the module the client will receive a strategic answer to the issue/assignment, which means a detailed concept of which one or more parts are actually produced.

 <li>Analyzing and evaluating: The teams will compare their findings to diversity and inclusion best practices and scientific literature. During this phase, the teams may re-engage with the organization for clarification purposes.</li>
 <li>Recommending: After considering the findings in the organization and best practices around the topic of the challenge, the team will write a succinct report in which they present recommendations to address the challenge. Additionally, the team will provide a recorded presentation that supports the written report.</li>

Om goed aan te sluiten bij de ICT-praktijk en de leerbehoefte van onze studenten richten wij ons onderwijs steeds meer project gebaseerd in. Daarom zijn wij continu op zoek naar leerzame en relevante ICT-projecten.
Tijdens de projecten werken onze studenten in (multidisciplinaire) teams aan een <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proof_of_concept" target="_blank">Proof of Concept</a>, een <a href="https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/minimum_viable_product" target="_blank">Minimum Viable Product</a> of een prototype. <h1>Scrum-methodiek en begeleiding</h1>
Om goed aan te sluiten bij de aanpak van de opdrachtgevers, werken onze studenten volgens de scrum-methodiek. Informatie-uitwisseling met de opdrachtgever vindt daarbij plaats tijdens de reviewsessies.
In de rol van product owner is de opdrachtgever sterk betrokken bij de reviewsessies en werkt ook bij het opstellen van de user stories nauw samen met het studententeam. De studenten worden tijdens de challenge ondersteund door coaches en experts van de Hogeschool Utrecht.
NB. Bij de TI-projecten kan de opdrachtgever voor een rol op afstand kiezen en de begeleiding grotendeels overlaten aan de coaches en experts van de HU.
<h3>Praktische randvoorwaarden van het project (challenge)</h3>

After following courses on different topics on Artificial Intelligence the master students are ready to put this all into practice in a AI consultancy project. You can bring your question and data and let students consult you on what you can (or maybe cannot) learn from and/or do with your data.

The student teams can work on challenges that require AI techniques to come up with a solution. Examples of challenges that students worked on in previous years:

 <li>Any company (startup/scale-up/corporate/incubator/NGO) with at least two founders/employees working full time in the company.</li>
 <li>In business for at least 6 months.</li>
 <li>Available dataset (there is time for data understanding / cleaning, but this should not require too much work).</li>
 <li>As the aim is to give the students the opportunity of experiencing the job on the site, it is preferred to have some time spent at the company/organization or arrange visits.</li>

De studenten Economie en Ondernemen van Firda in Emmeloord werken graag aan praktijkopdrachten. Ze doen dat tijdens hun projecturen, twee uren per week. De opdrachten mogen gaan over uw social media, website, het beter bereiken van uw doelgroep... het is aan u!

Marketing en Communicatie opdrachten voor MBO-studenten uit de omgeving Emmeloord/Urk

Je bedrijf of organisatie voorzien van verrassende perspectieven en frisse ideeën bedacht en uitgewerkt door een nieuwe generatie Commerciële Economie-studenten? Voor het semester ‘Customer Experience’ van het tweede jaar van de hbo-opleiding Commerciële Economie zoeken we werkveldpartners die als opdrachtgever willen fungeren, om zo deze nieuwe generatie studenten actief kennis te laten maken met het werkveld en te leren werken binnen een praktijkgerichte context.&nbsp;
 
➢ Studenten gaan in groepen van vier tot zes personen vijf maanden (september – februari) aan de slag met jouw vraagstuk.
 
➢ Studenten voeren, gericht op je bedrijf of organisatie, een customer journey onderzoek uit en en brengen op basis daarvan de klantreis van jouw klant in beeld.
 
<h1>Customer Journey Experience</h1>
Studenten ontwikkelen op basis van belevingsonderzoek en in samenwerking met jou nieuwe, levensvatbare concepten die aansluiten bij de behoefte van je klant, werken deze uit en testen deze. Dit geheel verwerken ze in een overzichtelijke rapportage incl. implementatie- en meetplan.

Tijdens het project Customer Journey Experience leren studenten over het in kaart brengen van de Customer Journey van bedrijven. De student ontwikkelt kennis en vaardigheden op het gebied van belevingsonderzoek doen en werken met praktijkgerichte challenges.

Energiecoöperaties zijn nodig voor een succesvolle en vlotte energietransitie. Helaas missen veel energiecoöperaties menskracht om te groeien en te professionaliseren.
Tijdens dit programma in de zomer van 2024 zal een team gemotiveerde studenten jullie helpen met professionaliseren van de coöperatie. De studenten worden begeleid door professionals en komen met praktisch relevante aanbevelingen en een implementatieplan rondom een professionaliserings vraagstuk.
